About the event
Hands 4 Hooves, LLC is partnered up with Koch Thoroughbred Transformations for this informative, hands-on workshop. Participants & auditors will learn about the benefits & contraindications of massage, begin muscle anatomy, massage strokes, a pre/post work routine & stretching techniques. Participants will be learning the hands-on portion on the lovely thoroughbred horses at the rescue.
Koch Thoroughbred Transformations is a newly founded non-profit family organization that takes thoroughbreds unable to race and rehabilitate, retrain and find a loving home for them to live a happy/full life. Their main focus is to teach these tremendous animals to trust their owners or even to have a second career in the hunter jumper discipline. Hands 4 Hooves, LLC will be donating a portion of the participant fee and all auditor fees to help support these horses!Â
Water, snacks and manuals are provided. Please bring a lunch with you. Auditors are welcome at this event, but will not recieve a manual and will only be able to view the hands-on portion.Â
